• Make sure the surface to be coated is cool, dry and in the shade
• During the application of the product always use latex or nitrile gloves to prevent C1 from coming into contact with your skin
• Drip the product into the applicator
• Close the product bottle again and store (do not keep the bottle in your hands to prevent premature curing of the product inside)
• Change the applicator every 3 or 4 application areas and no more than the size of the half hood – otherwise you will notice the coating becoming sticky, which makes removing it very difficult
• The coating reacts almost immediately with the paint molecules that it comes into contact with. This reaction time depends on temperature and humidity – for normal temperature conditions and around 50% humidity, it is recommended that the excess product be removed between 30 or 60 seconds after application
• It may be necessary to polish the same area several times to remove the residue. The use of two microfiber towels is recommended. Note that you are only removing excess product. Avoid scrubbing too hard as this, in addition to scratching the surface, can remove part of the already cured coating
• Be careful to frequently turn the microfiber towel you are using to prevent the C1 from partially curing in the towel which would make removing the residue significantly more difficult
• If you do not remove the residue correctly from any area, it will heal completely and will need to be polished to remove and re-apply the C1.
• As soon as you finish the process, place your microfiber towels in a bucket with water and cleaning solution. Wash and dry as soon as possible otherwise the C1 will crystallize in the fabric
